Got to tag along with GLA’s raid into Magtheridon’s Lair. No hunter gear dropped, but was awesome to see the content, and help out the GLA people.

Farming Nethercobra scales

Went to Nagrand with Contagion, Trini, and Linghu to farm some Cobra Scales so I could force Cadin to make me a some Nethercobra Leg Armor.
Drop rate in Nagrand is terrible. Recommend going to Shadowmoon Valley and hunt the Coilskar Cobra. Trini, the skinner, made out like a bandit on the leather! And I got my scales. Can’t wait to armor kit my legs.
Gruul’s Lair and Tier4 set

Got a text from Cadin saying they were going to raid some T5 content and could not get the number. The backup plan was to do Gruul’s Lair and would I be interested in going?
Hellz Yes!
So off we go. Had to mostly pug instance, so there was the traditional slow start, so wipes, mistakes, etc.
Overall everyone kept their cool and stayed respectful.
I was surprised by the shortness of the instance. It’s difficult, but short.
I won’t dwell on the wipes, except for one 
The raid is sitting outside of Gruul’s circle room. Someone got to close and the gate closed with half of the raid outside the gate! I was one of the lucky ones(?) and was inside, just barely, gate crushed me as the event started.
Valiant fight, but we died. I think we only had 1 healer inside. I kept running to the gate scream for healers outside the gate to heal me
The great news is 2 pieces of hunter Tier 4 gear dropped!
Just awesome!
The Black Morass

Contagion, Zeed, and I picked a random warlock and shammy and when to The Black Morass.
Fun instance. 18 waves of mobs. I was on adds duty. DPS paradise. Love not having to control my threat
Lots of good things happened.
First, finished my Kara key, I’m fully attuned now.
Second, I went honored with Keeps of Time and got my heroic key.
Third, the Hourglass of the Unraveller dropped, but I lost the roll.
