Emissary Roman’khan and AQ20
Got to a point in my quest lines in Silithus where I needed to kill Emissary Roman’khan. Being a level “??” boss and all I didn’t think I could solo him. Reading the wowhead comments say he’s was seriously nerf’d in 2.3, so, gave it a try. Got him down to 10%, but died. Tried again, got him to 2%(!) and died again. I not OP anymore!
So Cadin was online and I called out for help. Let’s just say Cadin burn Roman’khan down before Noogie even got to him.
Since Cadin made the trip, I proposed we peek inside AQ20.
Two Qiraji Gladiator just inside the instance. Both 61 elites. Both 50,000 health. Being OP hunters we’d figure we could burn them.
WRONG!
I think Cadin’s pet took 3 or 4 hits and was dead. My pet died first hit. Both mobs resisted my feign death and I was dead in 2 hits. Don’t know how many hits Cadin took, but she was dead pretty quick too.
We rez’d and went back in a little wiser and a lot more cautious. Cadin misdirected and pulled a mob (sorry forget the name). 60 elite. It was a tough fight but we killed it.
Nothing special dropped. But both of agree it was cool inside there. It’s just sad to see such unbalanced mobs. Roman’khan a “??” boss drops like cake and trash mobs in AQ20 kicked are butts.
When I get bigger I’d like to try to get a raid (group?) to run through that instance.
